Things have been going fairly well this last week. We looked at the house Monday night and it was almost perfect. I would have been perfect if we didnt have to share the house with Tony and his 3 year old daughter. Oh well. From what I understand they are only there on the weekends and maybe sometime during the week. The house itself is wonderful though. We have a washer, dryer and dish washer. We even get our own bathroom. I cant wait to move. Hopefully it will be the last time in a while.

Scott and Cliff looked at a house on Saturday morning. This house = biggest joke ever. First off, the guy wanted $700 for rent and a $1000 deposit. Okay cool. Whatever. They found out that we would have to share the house with the dude’s in laws (Yeah, wtf?), and it is mandatory that we maintain his property (like pull weeds and crap). I’m sorry, but who is going to pay $700 a month to live with SOMEONE ELSE’S in laws? Appearently we would have been 11th in line, lmao. Yeah right. I guess a lot of the property was off limits as well, like a few rooms in the house and the sheds, lol.

So i’ve been browsing through craigslist for houses and whatnot. I’ve found some pretty awesome deals, so we’ll see. I just wish this whole ordeal was over with.

In post edit, lmao: So I guess we found a place out in brownsville for the time being. I think we may go look at it tonight. I guess Cliff’s friend said that we could stay with him, which is fucking awesome.

I’m at the library again because our internet at home still isnt fix. I really hate coming here, but you have to be lucky enough to find a seat with a plug in next to it (for laptop users). I guess it is better then nothing though. I just hate sitting around here, lol.

So, We found out the other day that we do not get to stay at the house, and we have to be out by the end of the month. It really sucks, but whatever i guess. Apparently, Calvin, our roommate’s older brother knew that the landlord was having family moving in, and never bother to tell us. If we would have known that, we would have stayed at the damn apartment complex. Fuck. How can you lie to someone like that, seriously?

I have to make this short though. Im at the library once again since the internet is down at home. ugh. I have all kinds of shit to do at the house.

I have a new layout in the works, but I havent had much time to work on it see y’all soon guys!

So, we are moved into the new place and completely out of the old place. I sort of miss it, but im sure that will change soon. As for the housing situation, we are still unsure what will happen, but i suppose its best not to worry about it for now. Anywho, this new place is alright. It definitely needs some work though. The first night we moved in, the light in the bedroom shorted out, so we had to put the lamp that was in the living room in the bedroom. Now the living room has no real light source other then the one light in the kitchen. I guess we’ll have to find another lamp for the time being until we get the bedroom light fixed. Oh well. I guess we’ll find out if we get the place this week sometime hopefully. We aren’t going to waste our time cleaning up the place if we dont get to stay. blah!

Yesterday afternoon I found out that we may not be getting the house after all. We have about a 50/50 shot at staying there. Appearently the guy that owns the place doesnt want to rent to us because we are “friends” with the person that is currently renting the place. It wouldnt be a problem, but he is 3 months past due on rent and owes around $1,250. The landlord does not want to have to deal with that again. I understand his concern completely, but we are not like that what so ever. I will be asking our current landlord for a letter of recommendation so hopefully that will help a bit. If we are unable to stay there, we will have to find a place at the end of august.

We looked at the home a few towns over and it was absolutely gorgeous. I would really love to live there if we cant stay at the other place, but we are 5th to apply, so the chance of us getting it is pretty low. I would totally prefer living there than there then the original place, but I dont want to get my hopes up.

I just pray something works out with this housing situation.
